Weird Weather

Published: December 11, 2015 by: admin

Hi Everyone!  With the Holiday Season in full swing and the month of December ⅓ of the way done, we are having some weird weather here in theIMG_0625 Northeastern United States.  Normally, December marks the beginning of Winter in New England.  Snow, wind and very cold temperatures are the norm.  This year has been quite different though, we have been experiencing much warmer than normal temperatures averaging around 50°.  This weekend coming, they are predicting temperatures of 60°-65°, which will be near record temperatures for the day.

This time of year, we are usually dealing with storms of rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain with lots of wind.  So far, none of that this year.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining about the temperatures.  My heating bills are loving this (although I think my Oilman is not too happy…).  Those of you that know me, know that I have a hate/hate relationship with my furnace…  I am hoping that with the lower amount of strain, she will not give me any problems this year.

Although I am loving the weather right now, anyone who has ever lived in New England knows that at some point you will pay the price.  I am dreading what the weather will be like in late January and February…
