Early Spring is Tough in New England

Mother Nature can play some cruel tricks on those of us that live in New England.  In the past thirty days we have had just about any weather type that you could think of, rain, wind, snow, sleet, hail, severe thunderstorms, freezing rain and an 80° day.  and that is all within the past 30 days… Mother Nature, go home, you’re drunk!

Although this is very frustrating when you are trying to make outdoor plans, this is very typical weather for early Spring in this area.

The day that I am writing this post we are having a sunny day with temperatures around 50°, but with wind gusts up to 55mph!  A typical March day in this area.

Soon, we will be basking in warm sunshine and days at the beach in the 80° – 90° range and that one to two week stretch that we get every year towards the end of July to the middle of August where the temperatures reach near or above triple digits and everyone will be complaining that it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity…  I don’t care, it’s F’ing HOT!!!

But until then, we will endure the rollercoaster temperatures and embrace those days where the sun is out, the birds are singing and the mercury breaks the 70° plateau.
