Head in the Cloud…

I have always considered myself to be somewhat of a TechnoGeek.  I have even started a website and YouTube channel called TechnoGeek (www.technogeek.video).  So when the opportunity came that I could own my own Personal Cloud Server and not have to pay $9.95/month to someone else, I jumped at it. Several years ago, I had purchased an Iomega personal cloud and I could never get it to work properly.  I was very unreliable when I was away from my network and even on my network, it would not always work.…

Weird Weather

Hi Everyone!  With the Holiday Season in full swing and the month of December ⅓ of the way done, we are having some weird weather here in the Northeastern United States.  Normally, December marks the beginning of Winter in New England.  Snow, wind and very cold temperatures are the norm.  This year has been quite different though, we have been experiencing much warmer than normal temperatures averaging around 50°.  This weekend coming, they are predicting temperatures of 60°-65°, which will be near record temperatures for the day. This time of…

Flu Shot…

It’s been a while since I have posted anything in the Blog, sorry about that. With the holiday season upon us it has been nuts. I went for my annual checkup this week and it was actually good news, my glucose levels and A1C levels are all OK, but cholesterol is a little high, can’t be perfect. I also got the flu shot during the appointment. The shot is very important for diabetics so that they do not contract the influenza virus, which can cause all sorts of problems. The…

A quick post

It’s been a while since I posted anything here, so I thought I would get you up-to-date. We’re it’s been a while since I posted anything here, so I thought I would get you up-to-date. We’re getting into the winter months here but you wouldn’t know it by the temperatures. Normally at this time of year we should be in the 40s, but we have been regularly in the 60° range. I know that eventually mother nature will even things out, which I am not looking forward to. With about…

One day it can be 70° and then you can wake up to 20° the next morning. We are currently in that trend right now. Last week,…

Tuukka’s in a lot of Trouble

It’s been a while since I’ve updated what is going on. With September starting to wrap up and we are getting the leaves changing going into October, Summer is officially over.  Leigh and the girls have now been in school for a month and Jessica is doing very well in Middle School.  Leigh has quite a few challenging students as usual, but she is able to handle them.  I have still been producing the Vlogs and have added dash-cam videos to the mix, which seem to be doing OK.

How Much???

I’ve been on YouTube posting a video on and off since 2006.  I started to become more frequent with starting a “daily vlog” in August of 2014.  I do the videos more for fun and for a chronicle of my life. I am starting to use social media to spread the word of my vlog and also using this blog.  I have also started using a tool called “SocialBlade” to keep track of the analytics of my videos.  This tool will also give you information about other YouTube channels, including…

A New Level of Geekdom

As long as I can remember, I’ve been a Geek, more specifically, a Techno-Geek.  I have always loved anything technology-based.  I needed to figure out how it works, how it can benefit and how can I use this in my life.  This is one of the reasons that I am a Web Designer.  To me, work is not”WORK”.  It is no more of me spending my day playing on the computer, putting pretty pictures on web sites. Within the last year, I have gotten interested in the merger of…
