As Santa Claus is warming up his sleigh, Leigh and I are finishing up on the last minute Christmas touches. After our last meeting with Santa, I think that he knows that the girls have been very good this year both at school and at home.
We are looking forward to a quiet Christmas day at home with the girls this year. After such a hectic Thanksgiving, it will be nice to have a quiet holiday. We will be spending Christmas Eve with Leigh’s family, as we do each year. Then we will spend time with my family the weekend after Christmas. This is the first time that my family has gotten together for Christmas in about 7 or 8 years.
Looking back on this Holiday Season, it went by so quickly. It seems like it was Halloween two weeks ago. Even-so, I sit back now and think about how lucky I am to have Leigh-Ann who is such a wonderful Mother and my soul-mate. I am so happy that fate (and the internet) brought us together 17 1/2 years ago. I am also thankful to have two beautiful, smart and compassionate daughters. Jessica and Ashleigh, I wake up every morning for the two of you and do not know what I would do if either of you were not in my life.
Thank you to you also for taking the time to read my ramblings and/or watch my silly videos. I am a very luck man and I thank God everyday for everything that is in my life.
I wish you and your families the Merriest of Christmases and a Happy and Safe New Year.
